Through music, The Royal Corps of Army Music influences, sustains, and develops the moral component of fighting power, supporting State Ceremonial and Public Duties, and delivering influence in order to further Army, Defence and National interests.
British Army Bands are a unifying force, reflecting the mood of the nation, and playing a central part in national events and supporting official engagements undertaken by The Royal Household. The Royal Corps of Army Music also contributes to the strengthening of international relationships, exercising soft power through performances with allies, exchange visits, and Short-Term Training Teams.
In 1999 The Royal Corps of Army Music Trust was established for the serving and retired members of The Royal Corps of Army Music. The Trust maintains the Corps’ identity and heritage, providing fraternity, welfare and benevolent support to serving musicians and veterans.

The Royal Corps of Army Music Trust is seeking people with the right skills and experience to be new trustees for RCAM Trust.

Benevolence and Welfare is available to all Veteran Army Musicians who have subscribers to the RCAM Trust or their Regimental Charity pre 1994.
As a grant making charity the Royal Corps of Army Music Trust works closely with the Soldiers’, Sailors’, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) and The Royal British Legion (RBL), who provide a link to numerous caseworkers around the UK.
Those requiring assistance should contact SSAFA or RBL and a caseworker will be assigned. Once a need has been identified the caseworker will approach the RCAM Trust and request financial support for those in situations of hardship, distress or need. The Grants Committee will then consider providing the financial support recommended. Disbursement is usually made to the referring organisation rather than directly to the individual.

Join the Army Musicians Association and to be in contact with veterans, and serving members of RCAM, and receive regular updates of events.
The Kneller Hall Club was established over 100 years ago, to bring together graduates of the bandmaster course, serving and retired.
