Commanding Officer's Coin for organising a truly special musical celebration concert

Musician Henry Newton has been presented with the Household Division Bands Commanding Officer’s Coin by Lieutenant Colonel Stewart Halliday in recognition of his outstanding efforts in organising a truly special musical celebration concert.

Held at the Guards’ Chapel to a completely full audience, the concert brought together London Brass, trombonists from across the Household Division, and musicians from the Royal College of Music. It was a brilliant display of musical excellence and collaboration, honouring the memory of Richard Edward’s in a fitting and memorable way.
Musician Newton went above and beyond what is expected, demonstrating exceptional commitment, professionalism, and leadership throughout the planning and delivery of this event. We are extremely pleased to see his hard work recognised in this way.
